Happy New Year

Well it is already Thursday 11 January 2018, where does the time go.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are getting crafting in 2018.

I have been setting up a new card for my next Craft Group on 7 February, not one in January as I have so many committments.  I hope you like the card, the original design came from one by

I have used a Digistamp design called January Carnation from Imagine That Didgistamp but have made a slight change so that I could use it for Mother's Day.

I hope you like my version, it is really quite easy to make. I have amended Susan Smit's Tutorial slightly so that my craft ladies will understand it better as they will not be able to see the video which is more detailed.

Tables Setting Christmas 2015/2016

Saturday 16 December  2017

I would like to share what I made for our Christmas table in 2015 we also used them last year 2016.  They are crochet Mice and sleighs with card boxes in the sleighs for goodies.  They took a lot of making but looked great on the Christmas table. I made 12 in all and each mouse had a sprig of holly in his hat.

Christmas Cards and Table Place Settings

Wednesday 13 December 2017

I have been so busy getting ready for Christmas that I forgot to post on my Blog but I will remedy that now by showing you some of the things I have been doing.

Firstly the Christmas Cards I made for my Craft Ladies:-

For these cards I used the Jeanine's Art Die - Christmas Tree Frame, this is beautiful for Christmas Cards.  The Sentiments are Stamps by John Lockwood.

These two cards are using the Sue Wilson Die - Festive Collection - Lace Snowflake Frame and again the John Lockwood stamps.

These three are using Sue Wilson Die - Festive Collection - Christmas Cottage Scenes, two have Snowflake Acetate also.

The last card is using one of Kristy Breach's designs from Imagine That Digistamp that I created a 3D set for.

I have also been making Christmas Place Setting for our Christmas Table, Kathryn Sturrock made me the letters from MDF with the Name Banners.  I have painted these in Ivy Green and Berry Red Chalk paint and flood filled the Stars and Names with Gold Stickles Glitter. I also made the Poinsettias for them along with small boxes that are afixed with Velcro Dots so making them reuseable. The boxes will be filled with Sweeties on the big day.
